|  | Program Organization: How Reading Quest Reinforces Your Textbook Content

The Reading Quest program is made up of 48 student books organized
into 6 social studies and science curriculum areas that are all designed
to match the content curricula of the middle school grades.
Each
student book is written on or below level, includes brilliant photography
and graphics, and is filled with a variety of primary source material for
supporting and extending the content. Each curriculum area includes 8 student
books with a corresponding Teaching Strategy Guide for each title in the
set.
Plus, there's a Student Reading and Writing Handbook with practice strategies
for negotiating content material that can be used with all student books,
across the grades.

The Ancient World
Explores the traditions and legacies of some of the world’s most notable
civilizations including the Maya culture, India, and ancient Rome.
